Roville – Country Bathroom 1:6 Scale Doll Diorama

When Timber purchased a rustic settlers cabin, located on Mt. Rohill, there was no indoor privy. An outhouse had
been located down a wooded path behind the cabin.
The cabin had possessed a rickety lean-to, used in the old days to shelter animals from harsh weather. Timber set
about renovating it. She enclosed it, put on a new roof and installed modern plumbing for an indoor bathroom.
Timber is frugal by nature. Recycled barn boards were repurposed for flooring. She bought an old claw foot tub from a
neighboring farmer and had it reglazed. Corrugated tin scavenged from the dump (cleaned and sealed) was used for
the bathtub surround.
A trip to Home Depot during a sale scored an economically priced new window. She picked up wallpaper and paint
while she was there, too.
Yard sales provided primitive but sturdy furniture. She thought about repainting it, but doesn’t know a darn thing about
color, so she left the build up of white paint the original owners had slapped on over the years. She cleaned each
piece and no longer sees the chips and stains.
Timber enjoys evening bath time after a hard day's work chasing perps. She is a detective with the Roville Police Force.
She relaxes with a beer and ciggie and catches up on reading while warm water soothes her aching muscles.
