Hello!

I’m Daphne Bliss. I recently moved to Roville where I opened the Bliss Boutique.
My vision for the boutique is the ultimate in statement-making, trend-setting fashions.  I will be
carrying lines that are designed for the woman with confidence, who is always in command, does not
take herself seriously and is the life of the party.  She's versatile with an ever changing look to fit her
mood; one night she is uptown chic sophistication with a bit of an edge, the next night she is
downtown trendy glamour and by day she is refined casual. She mixes it up with the perfect balance -
always feeling confident and making a statement. The woman who shops at Bliss Boutique knows
who she is and uses her wardrobe to play off of her personality.

My mission is to create the highest quality, fashion forward outfits that are unique, accessible, and
what we are excited to wear!

Sorry, I couldn’t help a little bit of advertising there.
The reality is it’s been a lot of bloody hard work.  I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit (I majored in
fashion retail) and was looking for an opportunity to start my own business.  I was reading an article
about Roville one dreary evening six months ago and was impressed with the lifestyle – five-star
restaurants, quick access to the beach for summer frolics, close to the mountains for winter fun, bars,
clubs, nightspots – in other words, the perfect place for me.

So, with that, I began researching fashion retail opportunities.  I was both flabbergasted and delighted
when I discovered that Roville has an amazing number of venues that cater to the size 0 woman but
next to nothing catering to the, um… well, let me just say “healthy” (they are my clients, after all, lol)
women.  Well, I jumped on the opportunity and it’s been go go go ever since.

I’ve been incredibly busy – first with the tough lease negotiations for the storefront (competition for
property is fierce in this town), then there was the intense design and furbishing – it absolutely HAD to
make the right statement - and finally the buying trips to stock the boutique. Those were a lot of fun,
albeit exhausting.  The investment of time and money has been well worth the effort though, because
my overhead is already being met and I anticipate being profitable before year end. How’s that for
business savvy!

The next thing on my agenda, when my bank account is healthy of course, will be hunting for the
perfect place to live. Then… what else? A man of course! Haven’t had time yet, but romance is
definitely wanting to come off the back-burner. Also, I’d love to have time to explore the town, eat at all
the amazing little restaurants, check out all the trendy night spots (where you can bet I will be
checking out the talent!) and hopefully make new friends along the way.  I’m settling in for the long-
haul!

Well, let me stop gabbing and show you around.
I’m a huge shoe fan!  No outfit would be complete without the perfect pair.  Don’t like the $580 price
tag of these Manolo Blahnik's?  Never mind, I have more affordable Stuart Weitzman's at $280 a pair.
Any pair that manages to carry off the look works!
It may look like there's not much on the rack, but I have heaps in the backroom. I bring out pristine
garments when my customer puts in a request.
Everything is luxurious and very expensive, so I allow no unnecessary handling.
At the end of the day, all I really am is a serious business woman who cares about people.
So, if ever you are in Roville, please stop by the boutique. You would be most welcome.
Gracefully yours,
Daphne
